Brf Fröet is part of Uppsala Municipality’s far-reaching climate transition, where a larger phase is planned to become climate-positive. Trähem’s neighbourhood sits on one of Rosendal’s most beautiful sites, surrounded by verdant parks.

The project architect, White, has drawn on the natural patterns of tree bark and Uppsala University Library, Carolina Rediviva, to create a neighbourhood that conveys knowledge, sustainability and confidence in the future. Fröet is intended to become an industry flagship and a model for future housing.

Agreement with Uppsala Municipality Homes & commercial space 23 000 kvm

Trähem has entered into an agreement with Uppsala Municipality to develop around 23,000 square metres of homes and commercial space at Årsta Torg. Both we and the municipality have high climate ambitions for the project, with a strong focus on removing carbon-intensive elements at the design stage.

The homes will be built with timber frames, and a large grocery store is planned for the ground floor of the first phase — essential to a square that remains lively throughout the day.

From interest to keys

How buying a home from us works

The same dependable process applies to every one of our projects. Details for a specific project are always available on its dedicated page.

Register interest

Register your interest on the project page. Registering early gives you priority and access to sales material, drawings and news of the sales launch before anyone else.

Sales launch

We notify everyone who has registered interest by email when sales launch. Full details are published on the project page well in advance.

Reservation agreement

During pre-sales, you can sign a reservation agreement and secure your home early. The reservation fee forms part of the total deposit.

Preliminary agreement

As construction approaches, the housing cooperative reserves the apartment for you through a binding preliminary agreement, and a small part of the purchase price is paid in advance.

Purchase agreement

A few months before move-in, you sign the purchase agreement. By then, the financial plan is registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office and you become a formal member of the housing cooperative.

Inspection and warranty

An authorised, independent inspector completes the final inspection before you take possession. Two years later, a warranty inspection is carried out — so you can feel secure long after moving in.

Possession and payment

You receive a confirmed move-in date and time. The remaining balance of the purchase price is paid before possession. Then the home is yours.
