Trähem is a property development company focused on the future. We want to leave a positive green legacy and play a part in society’s transition to a more sustainable world.
The company was founded in 2022, yet brings together more than 50 years of combined expertise in timber apartment and housing construction. Over the years, our partners have developed around 10,000 homes. Each brings specialist knowledge — from the first sketch to the final nail — enabling us to deliver on our promises without losing sight of the greater goal: a greener future.

Why timber
Touch wood — nature lives in these walls
The construction sector accounts for around 20 per cent of Sweden’s total greenhouse-gas emissions. Unlike concrete and steel, timber stores carbon dioxide rather than emitting it. For us, building more in timber is not merely the right choice — it is the obvious one.
