Our position
We see the challenges. We also see that something can be done.
Climate change is a global threat to society today. At the same time, Sweden faces other important challenges — housing shortages and social exclusion. As property developers, we believe it is our responsibility to address these issues together.
The construction sector accounts for around 20 per cent of Sweden’s total greenhouse-gas emissions. Building more in timber — which, unlike concrete, stores greenhouse gases — is not only right for us, but self-evident.
Yet the construction sector’s climate challenge cannot be solved simply by replacing concrete with timber. Cities, neighbourhoods and buildings must be developed intelligently in every respect. As property developers, we must take responsibility for the whole chain — not just building smart, but making it possible to live smart too.

How we turn words into decisions
In every project and every decision, we act on this philosophy.
We build in timber — throughout
Timber frames are our starting point, but we also use timber in façades, courtyard environments and interiors. That is where the real impact lies.
We give back more than we take
Climate-neutral is our baseline, not our goal. We calculate climate impact from the sketch stage — and prefer to build climate-positive projects, where the timber frame stores more carbon than construction emits and the site has more greenery afterwards than before.
Homes that make sustainable choices easy
Mobility hubs, cycle facilities with service stations, ski storage and growing spaces in the courtyard. Car-free zones and safe walking routes. Sustainability should be supported by everyday life.
The place comes first
We always begin with the qualities of the place — water, terrain, sun and existing greenery. That creates both a lower climate footprint and better architecture.

Commitments should stand up to scrutiny
Sustainability must not remain words in a brochure. That is why we use established systems that are independently assessed.
